You will just have to adjust the idle by sound I presume you do not have a tach. You should disassemble the carb and clean it. There could be dirt blocking one of your jets.Problem Removing Starter - 1998 Xplorer 300. I am having a heck of a time trying to get the starter out. The service manual says there are two bolts holding it to the engine, but I can only access one, can't see or find the other one.
