I ordered my jeep in feb 2010 and took delivery 4/1/10. I assume mine has the newer update. The only item I did for my transmission was add the mopar cooler kit at about 40K I think. These transmissions run a bit hot and jeep didn't account for an external cooler. Guys cooked them just pushing them hard on highways, especially hilly/mountain roads.So threw a rod and so had to have the engine replaced. Got a used engine for a Jku that has been rolled over. The only problem with the new engine was the timing cover had to be swapped. When cranked the new engine the crank shaft positioning sensor threw a code p0355 and p0300. The first shop changed them for $650 which didn't fix the problem.
