Yes there are ways to make a male majin good. The easiest route I can think of is "defense stacking". Stay above 3 stam bars, use Potential Unleashed and "A Power-biased transformation..." soul, bring "Do or Die" and use the limit burst as necessary. With the LB on, even things like the recently buffed Emperor Death Beam will only do chip damage.
