Everywhere I look it's all the same screws and bushings that are on the kimber website, none of which are for a micro. Have to drop the mag, clear the round, close the slide, insert the mag, and rerack to chamber correctly. One 2nd round chambered OK on its own.The Kimber .380 has so many attributes that I still think it is still an excellent choice for concealed carry. Even the .380 round, in my opinion, is not a substandard round. It may not penetrate as deep as a 9mm round, but there are times I don’t want my rounds to over penetrate, as in crowded situations.

I have 7 Kimber magazines (3 short, 4 long), and it is pretty much the same for all of them, so I really don't think it is a magazine issue. When I have any empty magazine inserted, the slide will always lock back when I cycle it.
