The mulch kit works well but you need to cut more often. If you are cutting more then 1.5" then it leaves clumps on the lawn. Mulching is better for the lawn but clumps have a way of making dead spots. The bragger needs the blower to load up the bags. They do pick up 90-95% of clippings. Does a great job with leaves.
