It works well enough, but it isn't a perfect 1/3 co-witness. I can see the top of the front iron through the dovetail, but that is about it. It would work in a pinch. I haven't upgraded my front iron and don't intend to, but I've heard about people recommend sig's xray3 and ameriglo also makes sights that fit sig p-series dovetails.

If you dremel the slide to flush mount the 507k so you don’t need an adapter plate you can see at least the top 2/3 of the front sight.
