So I think I solved this for my 48" Ultrawide. In Fallout4Prefs.ini I put this in. bBorderless=1. bFull Screen=0. iSize H=1080. iSize W=3840. When I set bFull Screen to 1 it would keep crashing after about 15 seconds or so into a new game or loading an existing one. When I changed Full Screen to 0 it no longer crashes. So it looks like Comprehensive Ultrawide - 2560x1080 and 3440x1440 v1.2 was the way to go with the Comprehensive Ultrawide and Horizon Patch. However, Comprehensive Ultrawide has been taken down. There are other options: Widescreen fix. Ultra Widescreen Patches. TRUBY9 ULTRAWIDE - FALLOUT 4. You have to edit the Fallout4Prefs.ini in the Documents>My Games>Fallout4 folder and set the values of iSize H=1080 iSize W=2560 (for example).
